Pinehurst was not the only course that was playing tough last week. A massive congrats to Coach Steve Cowle for making the cut at the PGA Professional Championships in Conwy, Wales.
Steve was out in the worst of the conditions on the first day and managed a +4 score but followed it up with a +1 in the second round, including being -2 for the last 10 holes to make the cut on the number! Conditions were just as tough in rounds 3 and 4, with only 5 players managing to stay under par for the tournament, where Steve ended up T48 out of the 144 players. It’s been a fantastic year for Steve as he was also awarded PGA Advanced Coach status, well done!
Steve’s been working hard on his own game and can help you get the most out of yours. Join him for an upcoming Golf School or book a lesson to get your game in shape like Steve.
Time is running out to make this Father's Day extra special. Whether he's a full-time fanatic or just starting out, a Gift Card is perfect for celebrating him and everything his love for the game (especially with him most likely being glued to the TV watching the US Open this weekend!).

The golfing season is just about to start and Its MASTERS WEEK! The best week of the year!
I already have some keen Juniors attending the camps over the easter holidays and have my final Junior Camp in the Easter Holidays this Wednesday where some will be taking on the Masters Par 3 Course in the afternoon!
Recently Charlie Womersley has achieved his Level 3 award and has been filling out his academy book and is now striving to get to level 4! During the Monday camp he asked me how he could start passing some of these challenges so he could start putting more stickers in his book. We had a little go with the driving Challenge. Even though he didn't quite get to put the level 4 sticker in he has shown he's capable of hitting the ball 120 Yards which is the distance needed for the level 4 Driver Challenge! Not only this but this is Charlies new PB!!!! My GC3 launch monitor has been a great tool for the kids to use as they love knowing how far they can hit the ball and it gives them the feedback they need to keep pushing on.
Congratulations Charlie the hard work is paying off and we will soon get you through Level 4!
Last week two of our junior golfers qualified for the next round of the Faldo Futures regional final.
Finn Wolfe and Donnie Homewood competed in the qualifying event hosted at Pine Ridge Golf Club, Frimley.
All the juniors who take part in the Faldo Futures events across the country are looking to qualify for the Final at the Belfry this summer. Finn and Donnie managed to qualify by finishing in the top two scores of their respective divisions and will move onto the regional finals in the May half-term at Sunningdale Heath Golf Club.
Well done to both and we look forward to seeing how you get on in the next round!

Aspiring Golfer, Are you ready for a game changing opportunity? This year I'm rolling out my successful group programmes once more. If you're a player scoring less than 100 and serious about lowering your scores then read on... Could you be the next Tony? He came to me shooting in the low 90's and by the end of the course his lowest score was 81...wow! or James "Not only has my course management improved, you've also taught me new shots to use and play percentage golf at the right times. My rounds are more enjoyable, less stressful and good scoring comes naturally"
Right now I have an 8 week class starting on the 10th Feb with only a few places remaining. In conjunction with my 50th Birthday I'm taking £100 off the course price...to find out more click the button below and let me know if you're IN Right now I have an 8 week class starting on the 10th Feb with only a few places remaining. How many fairways do you generally hit each round? What number are you chasing? Spending more time in the fairways is possible with an effective and repeatable swing.
Hi and apologies if you've received this email several times.
I hope you’ve had a great Christmas and some downtime with the family. As the weather has been so awful I doubt you’ve had much chance to play, have you still been practicing?
I’ve been trying to keep busy as my diary is generally quiet this time of year…I recently posted a Putting Challenge on social media that some of you may have seen. If you've lost confidence in your short putts, struggle to leave tap ins on your longer putts or struggle to read greens then this challenge is for you.
If you’d like to sign up for it please do so, even if your putting is amazing you’ll still take away some great info...click the button below.
The challenge starts on 2nd January 2024 where I will post a new video each day. It will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor practice.
Don’t worry if you can’t make each day, as long as you’re signed up you can access the videos at your leisure even after the challenge finishes.
I look forward to connecting soon and wish you all a low scoring 2024. Your Coach Steve

Your “dispersion pattern” is the area that you usually land the ball. We determine this pattern for each club in your bag by taking an average distance spread across several shots. With this knowledge, club selection and game management become a lot easier.
Don't forget to let us know what matters most to YOU in your personal golfing journey. What matters most to us, is that you have the best experience possible every time you tee it up.
By answering these 6 simple questions, you'll go into the running to win one of TWO 60-minute Private Coaching Lessons!
Winter doesn't mean you have to pack away your golf clubs and dreams of the perfect swing. In fact, Steve and Scott are making sure you stay motivated, entertained, and on top of your game this chilly season!
Hitting a green in regulation (GIR) means you’re on the putting surface in two shots less than par on a hole. But GIR is based on a scratch golfer’s expected performance. So, if that’s not you, a much more useful benchmark of your game is “greens hit from inside 100 yards” (think of this as your scoring zone).
Welcome to Worldham Golf Academy's and Coach Steve's Winter Golf Programme which is designed to turn your off-season into an opportunity for improvement.
Our next awesome Junior Camp is just around the corner, and this one is always a favourite! Our Halloween Half Term Camp!

Is this you? The player prone to the infuriating topped shot? Remember two things: 1. Laugh it off, even the very best hit them sometimes. 2. Learn how to lower the chances of it happening again.
Dave Myerscough couldn't figure out why he was a 10 handicap in Dubai, but back here at Worldham, he was roughly a 20. Dave is clearly more than capable with a club in his hands, however, our courses offer up a different challenge with tighter fairways and smaller greens.
This is why we got him in for an on-course lesson to work on his game management, as well as his aim. Next thing you know, he's back on track and winning the roll-up! Way to play, Dave! We're really looking forward to seeing you achieve your full potential now that you're playing smarter golf!
If you'd like to enjoy your golf a whole lot more without any swing changes, chat to me. We'll get you on the course to find out where we can improve your course management and cut your scores dramatically!
Thinking about your golf game, where would an improvement make the most difference? Not just to your scorecard or your handicap, but to how much you enjoy the game.
What was your best score this summer? How would you feel if you shot that on a regular occasion? How would you feel if you shot an even lower personal best?
From all the golfers we've worked with over the past few years, we know that nothing beats these feelings. And that this is the time of the year to put in the work!
Tell us your scoring goal by clicking the button below. We know we can get you there.
We have had a wonderful few months of golf here at the Junior Academy, with sensational summer camps and joyful juniors. And now we're even more excited for a new term to start!
Each of you will be able to close your eyes and think of an exquisite golfing moment. Usually that will be the perfect shot, often unexpected, that surprises you AND your playing partners.
Are you looking forward to September? It's going to be a busy month.
We have the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup to look forward to at the end of the month, the PGA at Wentworth, Irish and French Opens...so much golf.
How's your season been? Successful or frustrating? Let us know!
For me I've been playing a few Pro Ams and my last 2 outings finished in the top 5 which is encouraging. I have a few more dates in September to play so who knows, I might just get a win!!!
My students have seen successes too, handicaps dropping, new players getting onto the course and enjoying the experience of learning a new skill.
If you'd like to enjoy your game more then please get in touch, we're always about for a chat or you can book an assessment lesson to see how we can help.

At Worldham we're extremely proud to have introduced 21 new golfers to the sport in 2023. Witnessing participants grow in confidence, forge friendships, and enjoy themselves makes this program incredibly fulfilling.
We'd all like to hit it longer off the tee and use less club into each green. Check out this tip that will help you bomb it further down the fairway!
Be sure to book yourself into an assessment today. We'll see where your game is currently at and make the necessary adjustments so that you can become the longest hitter in your fourball!
This month we're focussing on how you can improve your scores, without having to work on your technique. By knowing your game a bit better; strengths, weaknesses, dispersion and distances, you'll be able to work your way around the course in the most efficient way possible.
If this sounds appealing to you, be sure to book yourself into an assessment today. We'll determine all of the above-mentioned factors and figure out how you can lower your scores without too much effort at all.
Make the most of the last bits of summer and get your kids out on the course! As always, our Junior Golf Summer Camps offer an unforgettable experience with a perfect blend of fun, learning, and camaraderie.
Your child will have a ton of fun, receive top-notch golf coaching and learn invaluable life skills that extend beyond the golf course. Secure your child's spot in our Junior Golf Summer Camp today!
How does your swing look? We want to look at it with you. We don’t want to compare it to Jordan Spieth or Justin Thomas or Tiger Woods. We want to find the small, easy-to-improve areas which if improved, make a big impact on your playing experience.
If I talked about swing fundamentals and goals, most of you would yawn. But the image on the left is the one we most often see. The image on the right is easier to achieve than you might think, and it will produce much better results.
Don't let your kids miss out on our end-of-term Junior Tour Event this Sunday, 23 July from 2 - 5PM!
This awesome 6-hole Texas Scramble event is always so much fun, where both kids will hit every shot and are then able to choose the best one out of both of them. The perfect way to make sure there is maximum participation from everyone.
Book your child's spot by clicking the button below. Be sure to leave a note if they have a friend they'd like to play with, otherwise, we'll be more than happy to assign them a suitable partner on the day.
I know that some of you doubt your ability to have a great, or even good, golf swing. Some of you seem prepared to live with the playing experience you have. Don’t.
We’re midway through the year, the Open is just a few weeks away and the weather is all over the place (as always) but is your golf game?
If it’s anything like mine you’ll be wanting to take up bowls instead or…
You could do something about it.
I’ll be 50 next year and I have this urge to compete again against the old boys on the Legends Tour but in my present state I’m way off the pace…so what am I going to do about it?
I know there are areas of my game that need massive improvement if I’m to start scoring under par consistently but is there a way to test what exactly?
Well it just so happens that I’ve designed a quiz to highlight that and the results proved insightful, I now have a plan that I can start implementing right away if I’m to succeed.
The problem with golf is “which area to you start with”? Most players only practice the things they’re good at, maybe it’s fear of failure or they don’t want to look bad on the range, either way that’s no recipe for improvement.
You need a plan! And that’s where we come in.
As coaches we're here to guide you on a transformation to be the golfer of your dreams. Yes you could do it yourself but it may take years, whereas a coach will give you the right information at the right time in the correct order…you just have to want to do it and put in some work.
If you feel ready to take that leap then take my “Wheel of Golf Quiz”. It will highlight your strengths and weaknesses and give your coach more guidance on what needs to be looked at to help you reach your goals. Just click on the link below to access it.
FYI my score was 75% and the areas that need work are Mobility/Strength - Putting & more dedicated Practice
We want to help as many of you as possible have a better playing experience. What would be the improvement that would make the most significant difference? Why not list one or two? But be positive about how you express your goal.
This is the greatest game on the planet. Every shot that feels right is a beautiful experience. Let’s create more of them and the game gets even better.

Harry saw me yesterday for an on course game. He'd been struggling with lost balls and generally inconsistency around the greens which led to higher scores. Without any technical instruction we simply changed his lines from the tee, worked on more commitment with short putts and talked about assessing the yardage before deciding on a club to hit. The result: 37 strokes on the front 9 ????????

A reliable short game is the glue that holds a round together. Get up and down a couple more times each round and not only will your game be on the up and up, but you’ll have a lot more fun and probably impress your playing partners too!
The best way to set up more scoring opportunities on your approach is to find more fairways from the tee. Other than it being easier to play from the fairway, it’s also so satisfying to walk off the tee and onto the short grass knowing that’s where you’ll stay. We want you to experience that satisfaction more often.
Spring has sprung and it's time to embrace the longer, (hopefully) sunnier days and use them as an opportunity to take your game to the next level! We have some exciting programmes and events for all ages and abilities coming up, so be sure to check them out below and book yourself, your family, friends and loved ones in!

Last week, we spoke about the importance of knowing your best and average yardage for every club in your bag. And when it comes to par 3s, there are three more yardages to consider if you want to make your own luck and hit more greens.
Looking for a way to get your kids off their screens and onto the green this Easter? Our junior golf camp is the perfect solution!
Through fun and interactive games, your kids will learn the ins and outs of golf, as well as develop skills like teamwork, sportsmanship, and patience (hey, they'll need it for those tricky shots). With our experienced instructors and top-notch facilities, your kids are guaranteed to have a swinging good time.
So don't let your kids be a birdie on the couch this Easter - sign them up for our junior golf camp!
To celebrate The Masters kicking off in two weeks' time, we're very excited to announce that on the Wednesday before they all tee off at Augusta, we'll be hosting our very own Par 3 competition.
Tee times are available between 4.30 and 6pm on Wednesday 5th April.
Entry is £5 for Worldham Members and £15 for non-members. This will cover your green fee, snacks and prizes that will be on offer on the day.
The golf season is finally getting started (Apart from this weeks snow!) I have run my first introduction for our Learn To Play Scheme here at Worldham and the graduation for this is Monday 13th March.
I've had 5 ladies take part and has been great fun taking them on such a short journey to get them experiencing the golf course! Even making a group Birdie on hole number 8!
Myself and Steve are running more of these group sessions throughout the year aswell as individual lessons. If you would like to start participating in any of these please feel free to get in touch!
You’ve probably heard that famous saying: “The more I practise, the luckier I get.” But we’d take that even further to say that it’s not just how much you practise, but how you practise.
Setting up a scoring opportunity on your approach is about more than making good impact with the right club. Use the power of observation to make your own luck and maybe you’ll get even closer to the pin.

If the dates don't fit but you have a regular 3/4 ball that would like to join this experience then please get in touch and we'll find a time that suits you. We’ve got an opportunity to improve your performance
A consistent address is one of the foundations of a reliable, repeatable swing. Have you got specific address cues for your setup with every club in your bag? If not, we’ve got an opportunity to improve your performance and playing experience from tee to green!
"My first lesson with Steve was a great experience. After looking at my swing, he quickly diagnosed the problem of my lower body and shifting my weight through the swing properly. He gave me drills that made it simple to understand my issues and showed me how to fix it. The movement felt a lot better straight away and there were instant results of improvement and more consistency. To practice, I played a round after and knocked 10 off my previous round and shot my best score yet of 44 through 9. Steve is a friendly and excellent coach. I‘m looking forward to my next lesson."
I love it when I receive feedback like this and I look forward to taking Connor to the next stage of his journey.

If you've been following my LEFT HAND Journey then watch the latest installment by clicking on the video...such a frustrating game, you fix one thing and something else goes wrong. I will persevere though and hopefully, you'll benefit from my ramblings. (sorry about the language Mum X)

Last chance to get your kids signed up for our February Junior Camps next week! Limited spots left!
This is a great way to get them into golf or to kickstart their season. With games, friendly competitions, new friends and a ton of new things waiting to be learned, your young ones are bound to have a ball!
After miserable weather in December and January things are starting to look up. I've played my first 9 of the year but I did so left handed...why you ask? I wanted to set myself a challenge but also help my fellow golfers along the way. How will I, with all my knowledge, hit my golf milestones i.e. breaking 100, 90, 80? Follow my journey on YouTube and Instagram and see if you can pick up any tips along the way. If you're feeling a little rusty but don't know what to work on, please join me for a 9 hole playing lesson. I've put 3 dates in the diary and there will be a maximum of 3 players per group. This will be a great chance to get you scoring better without changing your swing. Understand how to deal with different shots, lies and weather conditions. Learn to think like a Pro and play to your strengths no matter what game you bring to the course.
Behind every fairway and green in regulation is a clubface set square to the target. Do this more often and you will raise your game and lower your scores!
Too many putts can be the difference between a memorable round and one to forget. When it comes to putting, less is more. And if you want to shave strokes and have more fun on the greens, we’ll need to start with some key basics.
Our Learn to Play programme looks to make the learning process as simple (and FUN) as possible, and breaks down the traditional barriers associated with the game.
We are also running a FREE Taster session, where you can come and see what all the fuss is about! Join our Taster by clicking the button below, or sign up for the programme immediately further down.
Find YOUR secret to more confidence and consistency
Being a confident and skilful chipper doesn’t only make the game loads more fun, it’ll also transform your scorecard. Make mastering the chip shot your new year’s resolution and let us help you achieve it.
Learning new skills whilst making lifelong friends, that's what junior golf is all about! We're very excited for our 2023 junior programming to kick off with the February Junior Camp.
Tired of those pulled or pushed iron shots ruining your birdie chances? Want to play more stress-free golf and enjoy more satisfaction on your approach to the green? If you answered “yes”, then the first step is for us to make sure you’re squaring your irons at impact.
How many fairways do you generally hit each round? What number are you chasing? Spending more time in the fairways is possible with an effective and repeatable swing.
Whether 2022 was another year in your lifelong journey with golf or the year that you started out, thank you for choosing to share it with us! We’ve enjoyed it immensely and look forward to seeing you all back out there in 2023.
A ‘kinetic chain’ of joints and muscles extends from your ankles to shoulders. When that chain is strong, your energy transfer is better, and your swing is more powerful and consistent. But one weak link can cause a breakdown. That’s why mobility matters.
We know that increasing your smash factor by just 0.05 can add 10 metres to your tee shots. But did you know that increasing your pelvic mobility can help you actually hit that smash factor more consistently?
After spending 8 months at Alresford, I've made the decision to return to Worldham with immediate effect. Alresford is a lovely club with great members, but unfortunately, it was not viable as a business for me. I had a productive meeting with Andrew, Scott and Ali yesterday and we have some great ideas for 2023 which we hope you'll want to be a part of.
We'll keep you in the loop with regular masterclasses, playing opportunities, fun competitions and challenges, as well as individual lessons, all designed to make you enjoy your golf more.
I'm really excited to be back and see some familiar faces. alsoI plan on playing more casual as well as competitive golf in 2023 so hopefully we can get a game in.
Take a look at my winter packages below and let's get you ready for the 2023 season:

Your golf swing has more power potential than you think. To develop that power, you need a strong foundation of mobility. How mobile are you? A swing assessment can tell us a lot.
You will no doubt receive a ton of marketing messages today with "unbelievable deals and discounts". This might lead to a lot of needless spending on items that won't necessarily bring lasting satisfaction to your life.
We'd however like to offer you the opportunity to INVEST IN HAPPINESS.
Those unbeatable feelings of watching the ball soar further than ever before or disappearing into the cup from a long-range putt. That feeling of confidence standing over a chip or in the bunker knowing you'll get it out the first time. These are the investments that we'd like to offer you this Black Friday.
If you'd like to invest in your own, or someone else's happiness this festive season, get them a lesson gift card. A more enjoyable golfing experience isn’t only about improving your swing. Simply making better choices has a positive impact. We’re here to help you with both.
With all the deals flying around this week, we can't think of a better gift than that of a better golf game.
The joy this brings, along with the memories made from shooting your personal best, breaking 100 or just being confident to get out of the bunker first time, is priceless!
Our gift cards are the perfect gift for friends, family or even yourself! Give the gift of better golf this festive season.
A more enjoyable golfing experience isn’t only about improving your swing. Simply making better choices has a positive impact. We’re here to help you with both.
Negotiating a golf course successfully is about weighing up risk versus reward. Knowing your dispersion patterns enables you to adjust your aim, so you can minimise the risk of going out of bounds and reap the rewards of staying in play.
When you think of golf’s scariest shots, what usually comes to mind is the drive on a tight fairway, the approach over a water hazard, the deep greenside bunker and the fairway wood off the deck. But there aren’t any gremlins lying in wait on the green, right?...
Hitting a successful approach shot is tough enough when there’s smooth fairway surrounding the green. Add water to the mix and “tough” can easily morph into “scary”.
We currently have a couple of amazing groups having a ball in our Learn to Play programme.
Luckily for you, we have one last group for the year starting on the 24th of October, so if you or anyone you know has been toying with the idea of learning this great game, be sure to sign up today! By the time 2023 rolls up, you'll be ready to tackle the fairways without fear.
Sign up today and end the year off with some new skills you never knew you had!
You’ve split the fairway on a long par 4 and the green is in sight, albeit a long way away. You know that when you strike your fairway wood well, it has the distance to get you there. But you don’t strike it well very often...
We love introducing this game of a lifetime to new golfers, so if you know of anyone who has been thinking about getting into the game and would benefit from a programme such as this, be sure to pass this on to them!
In this 10-week programme you'll go from the putting green to the range, and to getting on the course in no time! All whilst having a ton of fun and meeting some amazing new people along the way.
Your opening tee shot can be quite a nervy moment, even during a solo 9-holes when the course is quiet. But what about those Saturday mornings when the tee sheet is jam-packed and the clubhouse is full? Does that moment fill you with dread? It doesn’t have to.
We’re looking for 6 to 12 golfers to start a shared journey. From the 90s to 80s or 80s to the 70s on your scorecard. We want you to be the master of many golfing skills.
It's that time of the year again where your kids will be having a scarily good time at our Halloween Camp! These camps are all about giving juniors the opportunity to play golf, learn new skills, make friends and have loads of FUN!
Covering the fundamentals of golf, this is the perfect opportunity for new golfers to come and try the sport in a relaxed, group environment! Once they're hooked, the next step is to join our Learn to Play programme, where they can then hone in on these skills and become golfers for life!
The Experience Day starts at 12pm on Sunday 25 September and is open to any new golfers wanting to give golf a bash!
Our juniors recently competed in the Golf Sixes over at Wickham Park Golf Club, where they performed extremely well, and more importantly, had a ton of fun!
There were some great results on the day, where our team managed to finish 4th out of the 6 teams, but the highlight of the day definitely goes to Vincent Barrett. Vincent hit an amazing shot to win the nearest the pin for the under 9 age group and won himself an American Golf voucher, well played Vince!
It's now time to end the season off in style with our last Junior Tour event for the year, THIS SUNDAY, 25th September. Be sure to book your child's spot for their opportunity to level up in their Junior Academy Programme levels!
Thinking about your golf game, where would an improvement make the most difference? Not just to your scorecard or your handicap, but to how much you enjoy the game.
We're looking for a few member volunteers that can help facilitate a weekly playing event for new golfers and/or junior golfers. In return, a lead volunteer will be hosted at next year's BMW Championship at Wentworth for an enjoyable day watching the world's best battle it out!
Each of you will be able to close your eyes and think of an exquisite golfing moment. Usually that will be the perfect shot, often unexpected, that surprises you AND your playing partners.
It's with great excitement that we'd like to announce the return of coach Steve Cowle to Worldham Golf Academy! Our team has grown from strength to strength this year and we're very pleased to have him back with all of his experience and love for the game.
To start off with, Steve will be at the Academy conducting lessons every Thursday. However, if you'd like to arrange for another day please feel free to get in contact by clicking the button below.
There is still plenty of golf left this season, so be sure to book in and let's take your game to a whole new level!
A fun-filled 10-week journey that will take you from amateur to aficionado. Under expert guidance, you'll cover everything you need to be able to book a round with your mates on the weekend and show them a thing or two.
An effective pre-shot routine is one of the main building blocks of a solid golf game. It’ll make you feel more confident and give you a more stable foundation to deal with tricky situations.
Here at Worldham we take our golf seriously. However we take our fun even more seriously! Our junior golf programmes are designed so that your children get maximum enjoyment from their classes and on-course sessions. They might even learn some new skills and meet some new friends while they're at it!
Selecting a club, executing the shot and hitting your target is an extremely satisfying experience. By using data about your game – like your dispersion pattern – correctly, we can add more satisfying moments like this to your playing experience.
See the world (or golf course) in a whole new light
A consistent pre-shot routine won’t only help you to keep more tee shots in play, it will also add more clarity, confidence and consistency to your overall game.
We love the par 18 challenge. It’s a great benchmark of your wedge play and putting. And once we know your score, we’re able to create a much more effective short game improvement plan for you. But what score is the benchmark for you?
There are few golf shots more satisfying than a crisply struck pitch that hops and stops next to the hole. To help you hit more of these shots, we’ll need to take a look at how balanced you are.
Here's where they'll learn to play like their heroes
What a weekend of golf! The unbelievable atmosphere and traditions of the Old Course. Tiger's ovation on his final hole on Friday. Rory holing out from the bunker on 10 on Saturday. Then Cam Smith's magic on and around the greens to bring home the Claret Jug on Sunday. It was everything you could have asked for from a major at the home of golf.
When you need to get up and down, the type of shot you play will depend on your lie and distance from the green. But identifying the shot is only half the job, you’ll also need to choose the right club.
As usual, our juniors had an absolute blast at the end-of-month Junior Tour in June! 21 juniors teed it up, and from the photos, you can tell that a great time was had by all. These are great opportunities for the kids to put their newly-learned skills to the test, get a taste of competitive golf and make some new friends while they're at it!
Congrats to everyone that took part, and especially our winners from their respective tees: Full Red Course: Jamie Craig Academy: Samuel Freeman Wilson Green: Lillie Lucia Agius Yellow: Chalie Wormsley
Our next Junior Tour is coming up on Sunday 31 July and we're very excited to see the progress! These spaces fill up fast, so if you'd like to book your child's spot, be sure to hit the button below and sign them up today!
The Tour average for greens hit in regulation is just under 70%. For mid-handicap amateurs, it’s about 20%. When you’re hitting one out of five greens, being able to get up and down in two shots (scramble) is essential.
Golf doesn’t have to be a game played over four or five hours or even 18 or 9 holes. You can have a competition with 3 friends in 45 minutes before or after your day starts or ends. A Par 18 Challenge is a great benchmark to track your greenside skill.
We had another amazing Junior Tour Event in May! There was a great turn out of 24 juniors who all showed some great skills and had a fantastic time all round. Congratulations to the following players who came out on top from their respective tees:
Full Red Course: Dan Malkin Academy: Katie Anna Green: Finn Wolfe Yellow: Jonah Womersley Fewest putts: Oli Hankin
With Father's Day on Sunday, we'll be sure he'll be glued to the US Open and thinking about how he will take on the course in the weeks to come. This is the perfect opportunity to get him an improved golf game to say thank you for being an awesome dad!
Our gift cards can be made to any amount and customised with a special message to make your dad feel extra special this Sunday!
A short-game coaching guru once analysed thousands of regular golfers and determined that the average length of the final shot to the green was 19 yards.
It's US Open week! With all the buzz around the golfing world lately, this promises to be another exciting week for golf. But closer to home for all of us, it's Father's Day on Sunday! Out of all the gifts, we know a better golf game is always welcomed with open arms.
1 game. 2 Scorecards. Multiple ways to play better golf
You probably know that the final number on your scorecard has more to do with your performance with a few clubs at the bottom of your bag: your wedges and putter.
Go on a journey where the grass is short and hazards are distant
Most golfers shooting above 90 are struggling with the ball going right (for right-handers). If that’s you, hitting the ball straighter, or even with a gentle draw, gets you on a better journey.
Shooting below 85 or even near to that number is very difficult if your first move on the downswing takes your hands “outside the line” (that’s a technical term we use to describe the relationship between your swing and the plane).
By getting your child into golf at an early age, they'll be making new friendships that could last a lifetime. However, one of the biggest bonuses for your family is the enormous opportunity that it creates for some quality family time throughout the generations.
Last time out, if too many holes were spoiled right from the off, by a slice or big fade off the tee that results in you being in the rough or trees, then the good news is that it's often an easier fix than you think.
We had a hugely successful day with our April Junior Tour where we had 14 boys and girls take part. There was some unbelievable golf played, but most importantly, everyone had a brilliant time and gave their best efforts on the day. We can't wait to see what you all achieve next month!
There’s nothing like some healthy, fun competition to develop your skills. That’s why we love the par-18 challenge. It’s the perfect way to make short-game practice time with a friend or family member more fun and more effective.
Join in the fun this week with our monthly playing event and ladies golf community event:

Golf is growing immensely around the world, and we're not surprised one bit! The benefits are endless and we all know how fun this game can be.
We'd love to keep this momentum going, especially amongst the young ladies in our community. That's why we've signed up to host a super fun Girls Golf Rocks coaching course, starting on 30 April.
A 6-week course, where you can wear what you like, equipment is supplied and goody bags at the ready for the girls. This is the ideal opportunity for your daughters, nieces or granddaughters to give it a bash in a fun and relaxed environment.
Sign up them up or share this info by clicking on the button below. (If these dates don't work for you don't worry, keep an eye out for another course starting on 23 July.)
We see so many golfers, across the skills spectrum, who live with more greenside anxiety and higher scores than they should. But it doesn’t have to be this way, there’s so much fun on offer around the greens.
The average golfer hits 3 to 6 greens in regulation per round. That means up to 15 holes per round will probably require a wedge shot within 40 yards. That’s why it’s good to get into the habit of regularly playing 9 holes of 40-yard golf.
This is how you can have so much more fun around the greens
While you’re playing a full 18-holes, there’s another game you should keep track of; your average from 50 yards in. Next time you play, keep a record of how many shots you take each time you play from 50 yards out.
From tee to green, these opportunities will make you more keen | 11 - 13 and 19 - 21 April
At Worldham, our coaches are continuously striving to improve themselves, so that they can help you to improve. The end result of this is that you will become not only better golfers, but happier golfers too!
Our Academy Membership is all about helping you gain confidence and starting you on a path to becoming a full member at the club. To a place where you are going to get more enjoyment from your game and enjoy the benefits of being a club member.
On putts over 20 feet, regular golfers don’t strike the putter face at a consistent spot. Some strikes will be towards the toe and some will be nearer the heel.
How many times have you stood over a really long putt and just HOPED to get it close enough to survive? With the right lie angle for your putting stroke and setup, you’ll KNOW you’re getting it close.
Knowing you can comfortably handle long putts takes the pressure off needing to land your ball close to the flag on approach. When you’re able to consistently two-putt from distance, your golf experience is transformed.
We are absolutely delighted to announce Worldham Golf Academy's newest coach, Scott Coomber!
Scott has vast experience working within the golf industry, from working as a golf professional and caddying for distinguished golfers to being a Master Club Builder for Srixon. Needless to say, his knowledge and expertise in working with launch monitors and other technical golf equipment is top-notch.
However, we're most excited about how this past experience and his passion for junior golf development will be able to help you and your children achieve results on the course. Scott will be heading up the Junior Academy here at Worldham, so your kids are definitely in VERY good hands!
If you'd like to get to know Scott a bit better, as well as get a plan in place to play the best golf possible this upcoming season, we have the answer! Scott is offering 10 FREE swing assessments. Be sure to book yours by clicking on the button below. His goal is to help all of you come off the course smiling.
Focus on what's important and make a ton more putts
The face angle of your putter at contact has between 80 and 95% influence on the launch direction of your putt. That means a tiny error could cause you to slip by the hole, even with great tempo.
Knowing only your ‘carry’ may help you clear the fairway bunker, but it’ll send you rolling off the back of the green. And knowing only your ‘total distance’ may help you stop your approach shot on the green, but it’ll probably land you in that fairway bunker.
Your total score after 18 holes has a lot to do with the clubs at the bottom of your bag. But before we can know just how much, we need to work out your short game score.
Your “dispersion pattern” is the area that you usually land the ball. We determine this pattern for each club in your bag by taking an average yardage spread across several shots. With this knowledge, club selection and game management becomes a lot easier. Read more here: https://bit.ly/3rLaMOZ
Give them the opportunity to have as much fun as you do
Need any more reasons to learn to play this amazing game? Pass this message onto your mates, your cousins or even your grandparents, it's never too late to join in the fun!
Here's a stat that you really should be looking at
Hitting a green in regulation (GIR) means you’re on the putting surface in two shots less than par on a hole. But GIR is based on a scratch golfer’s expected performance.
Not sure how to get your kids off their screens and onto the greens? We have a fantastic programme for juniors, which includes all the basics they'll need to take the course on with confidence, obtain a handicap and have a huge amount of fun!
The key to more enjoyment is a long walk down the fairway
Yes, the statistics on the major tours now tell us that those with the longest tee shots are making a great living, but you’re not trying to make a living from the game.
“You drive for show, but putt for dough” was a saying that used to have some relevance to tour professionals and the highly competitive. It’s a lot less relevant to them now (as proven by the big-hitters at the top of the money list) but was it ever relevant to the regular golfer?
As we come to the end of another unusual and challenging year, we want to thank you for your participation and support. Our community is stronger as a result!
We had a great time at our Christmas Party on Saturday, with families coming down and enjoying lots of fun games together.
Congratulations to James Hill (Aflie's dad) who took home this year's Parent Prize, for the support he has shown Alfie during the season.
Marc McLoughlin wins the individual prize for Best Dressed, with his festive suit.
Family Jones wins the best family prize with their matching Christmas Jumpers.
The winner of "Guess the number of balls and tees" is Ethan Swinden - he guessed 158 total and there were in fact 154!
The winners of the Simulator Challenge were: Adults - Simon Gosling (683 points) Juniors - Finn Wolfe (667 points)
The winners of the Nearest Pin Putting Challenge, saw a number of people hole the putt, including: Peter Devereaux Katherine Walsh Stuart Wormersley Finn Wolfe
And the winner of the Present Putting Prize was Jonah Wormersley (drawn at random out of the 5 people that holed the putt!)
All the prize winners will be able to collect their prizes on the first session back in the New Year.
The most important competition was the Parents vs Kids comp on the Driving Range, and after a narrow defeat two years ago, this time the Kids won with a score of 22 vs 17
Thank you again to everyone that took part, and to George and Max for helping to run the session.
We wish you all a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year, and look forward to seeing you all in 2022 !

Anyone can become our next Student of the Year. It doesn't matter what your current form is like or your skill level, it's all about reaching your full potential that makes us happy!
Being able to walk up to the tee box with confidence is something we all strive for in golf and we hope it continues for you for a long time to come. Keep it up, Colin!
Forget scores and handicaps for a moment. Picture a shot you’ve hit recently that felt great. A shot that sounded sweet, flew true, and landed softly. Those are the moments we play for.
It might be long and wet but let's get you home dry
Playing from long, wet grass comes with the territory at some courses during the winter months. But your golf experience doesn’t have to get stuck because of it.
We've got your winter planned out for you right here
With an epic summer of golf now behind us, some of us may know exactly what we'd like to improve before next season. However, others might not quite know what aspect of their games will have the greatest impact on their scoring potential.
How would you feel being the longest in your fourball?
Let’s create more great experiences for you. Let’s create greater thrills and better walks. Let’s have a look at your tee-shot efficiency: your impact position and consistency, and your launch conditions created.
Whatever their ability level, golf can help children with their physical, mental and emotional development. Among other things, they will learn gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, etiquette and how to safely socialise. Plus, it's fun!
We were overwhelmed by the amount of positive responses we got from our newsletter that went out last week. Our winter programmes that we have planned are going to put more friendship and social connection back into golf while encouraging you to reach new heights TOGETHER.
You might not be a Tour pro, but you can still win big
How fast do you swing the clubhead? How many yards do you hit your tee shots? With those two numbers we can calculate how ‘efficient’ you are with your ‘yards per mph’ measure.
Golf is meant to be a journey shared. In fact, well over 50% of golfers say that “fun with friends” is MUCH more important than being competitive. Golf is a ‘human’ pastime. We want to put more friendship and social connection back into golf while encouraging you to reach new heights TOGETHER.
Pure satisfaction is so much closer than you think
If you’re shooting in the 90s then what if it took less than 20 hours of learning, practice, and feedback to get into the 80s? Let's get those hours in before next season starts.
Thinking about your golf game, where would an improvement make the most difference? Not just to your scorecard or your handicap, but to how much you enjoy the game.
We had a great time at the BMW Championships on Saturday, watching some of the best players in the world!
One of our Junior Academy members, Alfie Hill had a particularly great experience when he met and was gifted the glove of Marcus Armitage, European Tour winner.
It must have inspired Alfie who then went on to shoot his best ever score of 100 from the red tees at Worldham the very next day!
Needless to say these events are inspiring for our junior golfers, and we're running our own Junior Championships on Sunday 26th September to give them a chance to perform like the pros.
If you know a Junior Golfer who would like to have fun and learn to play golf, then please send us a message by clicking the button below.
Maybe we'll see some of our juniors playing at Wentworth in the near future!
This won't surprise us, but will definitely help to surprise you
This is one of the craziest years we’ve ever experienced. So let’s hit the reset button and be even crazier. Let’s make this the year we play better golf than ever.
Away from the screen, real connections are made on the green
The past 18 months have seen ‘connection’ become more digital than ever before. While that’s enabled many adults to keep working, it’s deprived many children of school, sports and friends. Golf can make up for this with skills development, physical activity and friendship.
Knowledge is power. Power gets you further down the fairway
Some tee boxes are especially scary and intimidating. But you can gain the upper hand with an understanding of your dispersion patterns. This knowledge enables you to adjust your aim and minimise risk, freeing you up to approach a daunting hole with more confidence.
Using your dispersion patterns gives you a much better idea of where to aim to keep your scoring chances as high as possible. You can use dispersion to better manage a new course, and even to score on it as well.
The best decision you can make, over and over again
Game management is about weighing up risk versus reward. Knowing your dispersion patterns enables you to adjust your aim, so you can minimise the risk of going out of bounds and reap the rewards of staying in play.
If there's one thing we can help you improve this month, this is it
Dispersion patterns are easy to determine and once you understand them, you’ll know where to aim to minimise your risk of landing in hazards or out of bounds.
Our Girls Golf Rocks programme here at Worldham encourages beginner girls aged 5-18 to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way. For the last 4 weeks, we’ve spent most of the time on the short game which has benefited all the girls, but especially Lilly-Belle!
Lilly-Belle played in the Hampshire and Berkshire junior league on Saturday for her home club which was held at Bishopswood GC. There were 5-6 clubs represented by 20-30 players ranging from 10 to 18 years of age.
Being the youngest on the day (age 10 and with a 31 handicap) she came away with the Whale trophy and overall winner with 44 points. Her putting from distance was especially impressive! Way to go Lilly-Belle, we're super proud of you!
Our junior summer camps still have a few spaces and cater to all children, no matter the age or ability!. Be sure to book your child's spot today!
Steve Smiley came in for an on-course session recently and we worked on some course management strategies and something that we all struggle with, trusting his swing.
Steve then went and clawed his way back from a 6-shot deficit to win the Seniors Club Championship by a stroke! He had a game plan, trusted his swing, and shot 4 under his handicap with a strong 4 pars to finish…an extremely gutsy performance under pressure!
If you’d like to perform better under pressure and take your range game to the course like Steve, then come and join me every other Friday at 9am, or alternatively book in for a playing lesson.
Playing only a few times a year, Harry booked in for an assessment in April. We’ve been doing some awesome work since then and the results have been amazing.
As you can see in the video, Harry is not a 36 handicap golfer anymore (and you can just imagine how far that ball went!).
Our FREE assessments are the quickest way for us to determine your strengths and weaknesses. We can then easily put an appropriate plan into action so that you can become the golfer you've always wanted to be and have a smashing good time, like Harry is. Book yourself in for an assessment today!
Most golfers shooting above 90 are struggling with the ball going right (for right-handers). If that’s you, hitting the ball straighter, or even with a gentle draw, gets you on a better journey.
We hope you're as excited about the amazing golf that's going to be played this week at Royal St George's! But why leave all the good golf up to the Pros when you can start playing more amazing shots yourself?
There's plenty of great golf to go around! Join us for a one-on-one lesson; fix your slice with our No More Slice masterclass or get your kids involved in our Junior Summer Camps!
Shooting below 85 or even near to that number is very difficult if your first move on the downswing takes your hands “outside the line” (that’s a technical term we use to describe the relationship between your swing and the plane).
Spending time on the range is great. However, wouldn't it be so much better under the supervision of an expert PGA Professional who can make sure that you are practicing correctly? And even better practicing with other awesome like-minded people instead of hammering balls on your own for hours?
Improving how you practice can make your time on course more fun. Make the most of your range time. Join our practice club today!
Gary came into Worldham Golf Academy struggling with a left-to-right ball flight that wasn't very controlled (don't we all?!). Over the past 6 weeks, we’ve worked on a few technical things including the correct hand path away from the ball and maintaining his shoulder plane.
Gary has done some awesome work and turned a weak slice into a soft powerful draw. The best part is that he is now more balanced and able to repeat this swing after swing. We couldn't be happier for you Gary!
If you'd like to get more power out of your swing, that you can repeat day in and day out, come and see us! We have different programmes for golfers of all ages and abilities coming up in July.
Last time out, if too many holes were spoiled right from the off, by a slice or big fade off the tee that results in you being in the rough or trees, then the good news is that it's often an easier fix than you think.
Join our fun summer camps. With structured games-based learning, your kids will learn some great new skills and will be provided with a real taste of golf.
Girls Golf Rocks is hitting Worldham Golf Club on Monday 3rd July!
If you're looking for a fun and social activity for your daughter or granddaughter to do over the summer, then why not come and play some golf, meet new friends and have a great time in the sunshine.
Cost is just £35 for 6 weeks of golf!
Follow the link below to find out everything you need and to book your places before they disappear, or contact Andrew for more information by email andrew@worldhamgolfacademy.co.uk
Whether it’s the immediate benefits like fun, outdoor exercise and family time or long-term benefits like physical and mental development, golf has so much to offer your child.
It was great to see nearly 30 adults and juniors playing in our family foursomes at the weekend. We had all ages and abilities playing on a shortened course which was so good to see!
Congratulations to the winning teams who both scored a total of 43...
Andy and Harry Wrout Steven and Lochlan Hutton (Check out the video to see Lochlan's reaction to winning the Driving Range challenge too)
We also had some spot prizes for the fun challenges after the round:
The Longest Putt was won by Zac Wilson
The Chipping Challenge saw 3 people tie getting 2 shots each into the net, well done to: Tom Wilson, Trevor Malkin and Steve Hutton
Our final challenge was to hit the pole on the driving range. Congratulations to:
Lochlan Hutton, Isla Jones, Harry McLoughlin and Samuel Freeman-Wilson
We also had two adults managed it too, well done to Tom Wilson and special mention to Tash McLoughlin who hit the pole (and she doesn't even play golf....yet!)
Prize winners will be able to collect their prizes at the next event, or from the Proshop from next weekend.
Can you score 10 points? Or do you need some help to do that?
A short-game coaching guru once analyzed thousands of regular golfers and determined that the average length of the final shot to the green was 19 yards.
Golf doesn’t have to be a game played over four or five hours or even 18 or 9 holes. You can have a competition with three friends in 45 minutes before or after your day starts or ends. Par 18 is a great benchmark to track your greenside skill.
Just when you thought your dad had everything, you got him a whole new golf game! A set of new skills that will provide endless enjoyment and provide many a memory.
Golf has so much to offer. From the technical aspect of the swing and the health benefits of spending time outdoors, to teaching discipline and having a laugh. It really does have it all, but we're sure you know that already!
That's why we'd like to offer this experience to anyone you know who doesn't play golf.
We will be hosting a 10-week Learn To Play programme where you'll learn everything you need to give you enough confidence to take to the course (as well as meet some pretty awesome people). The first session starts this Saturday from 15:00 - 16:00.
There's no dress code and we can supply all the equipment you need to get started on your very own golfing journey!
You probably know that the final number on your scorecard has more to do with your performance with a few clubs at the bottom of your bag: your wedges and putter.
Jared came in for a few lessons at Worldham Golf Academy where he showed some great potential. We made a few minor tweaks and worked on a more stable impact position with both his body and the clubface. This helped to control his strike and flight a lot more.
So much so that he went out and absolutely smashed his previous best 9 hole score by a massive 10 shots! Awesome work, Jared!
If you, like Jared, would like to become a much happier golfer and smash your PB, come in and see us. We love seeing smiles like these after our students achieve their goals!
Malcolm Collinson came in for a lesson and this is what he had to say: "I hit a few balls with Alistair watching, immediately he knew what was wrong with my swing, he taught me a different swing, and by the end of the lesson, I was hitting the balls another 50 yards. Amazing"
Malcolm was amazing and we are thrilled to see the improvements after just one session. We can't wait to see how he is swinging it by the end of the season!
If you'd like to improve your golf and find some extra yards like Malcom did, book yourself in for an assessment or lesson here at Worldham. Everyone is unique and we love figuring out what works for YOU.

Walk away from every green with a smile on your face
On putts over 20 feet, regular golfers don’t strike the putter face at a consistent spot. Some strikes will be towards the toe and some will be nearer the heel. Many golfers overestimate how often they middle it. Here’s a quick and easy way to see for yourself. Read more here: https://bit.ly/3bRfsKF
Knowing you can comfortably handle long putts takes the pressure off needing to land your ball close to the flag on approach. When you’re able to consistently two-putt from distance, your golf experience is transformed.
The face angle of your putter at contact has between 80 and 95% influence on the launch direction of your putt. That means a tiny error could cause you to slip by the hole, even with great tempo.
There's nothing quite like golf in the springtime, especially after the winter we've just had. So come spend some time with us this May. Soak up the sun, meet some awesome new people and most importantly, get that unmatched satisfaction from improving your golf.
A survey conducted at several golf clubs, revealed that less than 2% of golfers between a 20 and 5 handicap intended to have any coaching in the next 12 months. The attitudes to better golf were also interesting, especially across the age groups. We wonder what the view is at our facility?
Yes, the statistics on the major tours now tell us that those with the longest tee shots are making a great living, but you’re not trying to make a living from the game. Most of you are looking for a great social experience and a good or better golfing experience.
We have had a year that has reminded us of how important the outdoors, space, and our health is. If you play golf, then you should consider yourself to be a very lucky person. Spread that love to people you care about.
We've had a great week at our holiday camps this week, despite the cold weather!
Thanks to everyone who's booked for next week, we just have two places left on Tuesday's camp. If you'd like to book your child please click the link below.
Tuesday 13th April 9am-12pm £35.00
"Just a quick message to say how much Fabian is enjoying the Easter camp. Ali is great with the kids and a super nice guy. I told one of my friends about it and she sent her son today, he enjoyed it so much that they have booked for next week as well. Well done to you all at Worldham and many thanks."
“You drive for show, but putt for dough” was a saying that used to have some relevance to tour professionals and the highly competitive. It’s a lot less relevant to them now (as proven by the big-hitters at the top of the money list) but was it ever relevant to the regular golfer?
“You drive for show, but putt for dough”. Do you though? Bryson DeChambeau (1st on the Fedex cup ranking) is only 38th on the list of strokes gained on the green, but is 1st for the equivalent stat off the tee. And did you know Viktor Hovland (4th on the Fedex list) is 90th on his putting stat but 5th in strokes gained off the tee?
Everything you need to get started on an amazing journey
We can't wait to see you all soon! We still have a few spots available in our Learn to Play Programmes coming up in April. There's no dress code and we can supply all the equipment you need to get started on your very own golfing journey!
With less than a week to go till golf is back, be sure to make your child's Easter break that much more fulfilling. Having fun outdoors, learning new skills that will stick with them for a lifetime, and making some new friends; now doesn't that sound exciting?
Golf can be an intimidating sport to get into. This week Andrew describes the 3 step process that we go through at Worldham to make sure you can make the transition from the Learn to Play programme to the course as fun as comfortable as possible.
Getting a grip on the basics of the game from an early age sets you up for life. These basics will stay with you, even if you do take a break from the game.
According to recent reports from some of the biggest names in golf research such as Golf Datatech and the NGF, more and more people are turning to golf.
The only thing more exciting than being able to play golf again
Thanks so much to all those of you who have already signed your kids up for the Junior Easter Camps. Spots are filling up fast, so to make sure your child has an unbelievable time learning this great game next month, be sure to book their spots ASAP!
My name's Ali and I'm starting at Worldham on the 29th of March. I'm really excited about having the opportunity to work at a modern-thinking club and a facility that embraces families, children and all visitors.
I've visited the club a few times now and have a really good feeling that 2021 is going to be a phenomenal golfing year for everyone. The course and facilities are in great condition and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you at the club.
We can't believe it's March already! Although we might not be able to just yet this shouldn't stop us from getting excited about getting back out on the course. With the year speeding on, our Junior Easter Camps are just around the corner now.
Children today have so many ways NOT to go outside. Whether it’s TVs, PCs, tablets or smartphones; a digital world of instant streaming and gaming options is there to keep them indoors.
We're still waiting on the All Party Parliamentary Golf Group to confirm regulations for the return to golf but we can be confident in 1-1 coaching being allowed and our Junior Camps going ahead in the Easter holidays!
Our lesson diaries are open, and we've had lots of enquiries already. Please get in touch ASAP to book your lessons for the first few weeks as spots are filling up fast!
Enjoy your first round of golf back by preparing with a lesson from your PGA Professional.
See you all soon!

Family time on the fairways, what's better than that?
Children develop better when their family environment is supportive and positive. Golf gives families an opportunity like few other sports to spend several hours together. This gives you the time and space to provide your child with positive feedback.
Golf brings together a wide variety of people from all walks of life. For children playing golf, this diversity helps to broaden their worldview and gives them the opportunity to form new friendships.
Golf etiquette and values foster behaviours and skills that will help your child deal with life more effectively. The golf course can be seen as a safe and fun testing ground for real-world challenges.
Stay healthy, stay safe, and most importantly, stay active!
It’s possible to improve your golf game from home. Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and certain exercises are particularly good for your swing.
Each week during lockdown 3.0 Andrew is undertaking a putting or chipping challenge.
If you can correctly guess how many attempts it takes Andrew to complete the challenge you will be entered into a draw to win a sleeve of srixon balls!
Click the Reply button below before 6pm on Monday 11th January and we'll announce the winners next week.
Stay safe and well everyone, we look forward to seeing you all back at the club soon.
It’s possible to improve your golf game from home. Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, and certain exercises are particularly good for your swing.
Following the Government's announcement last night all coaching activities will cease until further notice.
If you have golf lessons booked your coach will contact you to reschedule these to a later date.
We will be in touch during Lockdown with regular news, tips, challenges and updates. We're excited about getting back to golf in the spring and look forward to welcoming everyone back to our club when it is safe to do so.
Please stay safe, and do reach out if you have any questions.
Playing from bunkers and heavy rough is tough enough as it is. But winter adds water and mush to the mix, and without a game plan it can be tough to escape.
Unfortunately in the game of golf, as in life, there aren't any quick fixes that have long-lasting positive effects. This is why our coaching packages have been so popular this year. To help you play better golf consistently and make positive changes to your life.
Muddy lies come with the territory during winter. But your golf experience doesn’t have to get stuck because of it. We’re here to help you play better golf this winter.
It's been a long month away from our beloved golf course, but what's made it even longer is not having been able to see all of you! Helping all of you achieve your goals is what gives us the energy to give you our best efforts. That's why last night's news has got us so excited that we can still end of this crazy year on a really high note!
Some gifts are more intangible than others. The confidence of believing in your ability. The satisfaction of a crisp iron shot. Watching a ball disappear into the bottom of the cup.
